My name is Dr Fadhlul Nur Izza Bte Abd Karim (Dr Izza), Resident Medical Officer in APM Healthcare since May 2022. Previously I was a medical student for 6 years and a MBBS degree holder who graduated from University Kuala Lumpur Royal College of Medicine Perak (RCMP) class 2009-2015.
I started my career as a House Officer for 2 years at Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru until July 2017. Then continue my Medical Officer journey for 4 years at Hospital Limbang, Sarawak until June 2021. At Hospital Limbang I am a MO incharge in Emergency and Trauma department. I have a wide range experience in treating acute emergency cases in various ages that need immediate critical care.
Other than that I also in charge in minor OT as Anaesthesia MO and able to do Spinal/Emergency or Elective intubation pre-operation at Hospital Limbang for 1 year. Fast foward, I was transferred to Johor Bahru after 4 years living in Sarawak and continue my carrier at Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru at General Medical depatment for 9 months before joining APM Healthcare on May 2022. As I have no preference in specific area yet, I think general practitioner (GP) is suit for myself to treat patients in various ages. I hope with the skills and experiences as a medical doctor for 9 years, I can contributed something valueable to all my patients and especially to this APM Healthcare family.
